YCS Seeking Psychiatric APN
YCS employees are devoted professionals who have a passion for helping children, adolescents and adults. Holley Child Care and Development Center is a 24-hour long-term intensive treatment residential facility for high-risk and behavioral-challenged children ages 8 -15.
We are currently seeking an APN to provide psychiatric assessments and medication monitoring to youth in residential programs as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Advanced Practice Nurse will perform clinical and administrative duties in a medical support role.
Specific job responsibilities:
- Prescribing and monitoring medications, completing laboratory work on newly admitted clients, and ensuring all clients receive proper medical and nursing care.
- Provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited Advanced Practice Nursing Program
- Current NJ State license and certification to practice as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse/Nurse Practitioner (APN)
- Prescriptive Privileges in the State of NJ Current NJ CDS and DEA Number
- Preferred 1 year of full-time work related experience
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday.
