Job Title: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APN)

Location: Hybrid or 100% telehealth sessions

Job Type: Part-Time or Full-Time (Part-Time is a minimum of 10-15 hours per week and full time is about 25 hours per week

Job Overview:

Main Street Counseling is seeking a skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APN) to join our thriving group counseling practice in providing expert medication management to patients with various mental health conditions. This role offers the flexibility to work part-time or full-time.  You will have the opportunity to collaborate with our team of licensed therapists to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.  We also have other APNs at the practice that you are able to consult with if needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Medication Management:Conduct psychiatric evaluations and prescribe/manage medications for conditions such as depression, anxiety, and mood disorders.
• Collaborative Care:Work alongside therapists and counselors to create and adjust treatment plans, ensuring an integrated approach.
• Patient Monitoring:Track patient progress through regular follow-up visits, adjusting medications and treatments as needed.
• Documentation:Maintain accurate, timely patient records in compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA).
• Telehealth &/or In-Person Care:You have the option to provide a mix of telehealth and in-person services based on availability.100% telehealth is also an option.

Work Hours & Compensation:

• Flexible part-time (10-15 hours per week) or full-time schedule (averaging 25 hours/week).
