CarePlus New Jersey is a northern New Jersey provider of recovery-focused mental health, substance abuse, and family services that address the unique needs of individuals with a holistic approach to recovery and overall wellness.

Operating out of 23 sites – including three outpatient centers located in Paramus, Fair Lawn, and Montclair, ten residential facilities, offices at three local hospitals, and seven community offices – our services are convenient to clients located throughout Northern New Jersey. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing services utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for interventions that promote and foster health, assess dysfunction, assist clients to regain or improve their coping abilities, and prevent further disability. These functions include health promotion and health maintenance, assessment and evaluation, case management, provision of a therapeutic environment, tracking clients and assisting them with self-care activities, administering and monitoring psycho-biological treatment regimens, health teaching and counseling. Functions as an embedded member of an interdisciplinary team providing services for CPNJ in multiple departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a minimum of a masters degree from an accredited school of nursing
• 2 years’ experience working within a behavioral health setting
• Substance Abuse experience a plus
• Valid NJ RN license
• Valid NJ APN
• Valid Federal DEA
• Valid CDS
• Valid ANCC certification
• Valid CPR
• Family Practice Certification
